According to reports, police escorts accompanying Burna Boy shot a man who reacted after the singer allegedly made advances at his wife at Club Cubana on Victoria Island, and they are being probed for their role in the incident.
How about those that were shot?
Two people were reportedly hospitalized as a result of the incident, with one requiring a blood transfusion. Usman Alkali Baba, the Inspector-General of Police, is said to have denounced the occurrence “in the strongest terms” and described the circumstances as “unbelievable.”
Are the officers being charged to court?
According to a statement from the police spokesman, CSP Muyiwa Adejobi, the IGP has asked the Commissioner of Police, Lagos State Command, CP Abiodun Alabi, to conduct a comprehensive investigation into the situation and submit his findings as soon as possible for further action.
