Microsoft opening for Software Engineer (African Graduates)

Microsoft has announced employment opportunities for fresh graduates from Nigerian universities and other African countries. The company said it is specifically looking for software engineers from across Africa to join its US and Canada team.

Announcing the job opportunities on its verified Twitter handle, the tech giant said potential candidates must be willing to relocate to US or Canada.

What are the qualification requirements for the job?

According to the Twitter post, Microsoft said candidates seeking employment must be “pursuing or recently completed bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering, computer science or related field”. Also, the candidate must have programming in an object-oriented language and must demonstrate an understanding of computer science fundamentals, including data structures and algorithms.

According to a post on its website regarding the fresh graduate recruitment, the company said the opportunity would allow eligible candidates to bring their aspirations, talent, potential, and excitement for the journey ahead, adding that those hired into the role are invited to participate in Microsoft Aspire Experience, two-year learning, and development experience, where they can build a network, cultivate intentional capabilities and gain perspective into the career opportunities across its many exciting businesses.
