FP: Let’s meet you

I’m Yohanna Jephthah Dagdon, enthusiastic about learning, and sometimes I write. I have a keen interest in Hip Hop, and I also make shoes. 

What’s the best advice you’ve ever received? And from whom? “If you’ll be a sweeper, sweep so well that when you leave everyone will know there was once a sweeper here cause everything worth doing is worth doing well.” It came from a father figure.

What do you think is the silliest song but you like singing it anyway? “Face Me, I Face You” by Sunny Nneji

What real person do you wish were fictional? President Mohammadu Buhari

How would you explain Tiktok to your great-grandparents? “This is a sort of media channel like NTA news that we pay subscription money to watch very short movies and we can also air our own movies.”

What always makes you laugh? Tosin Adeoti’s anti-Tee Noo Boo’s campaign on Facebook.

If you were given a billboard in Ikeja, Lagos, what would you put on it?
“A video of some New York rappers freestyling without beats, putting on jeans, sneakers, jackets and face caps with the video captioned ‘Hip Hop For The Culture.”

What would you rather do without? Facebook or Twitter? Twitter.

If you could erase one event from history, which one would you erase? Voting into the power of President Mohammadu Buhari and Governor Nasiru El-Rufai.

If you could interview a famous person, who would you choose? Mr. Marshal Mathers, Eminem. 

What was your fondest memory of high school? Asking my Geography teacher questions concerning outer space even though I know I won’t get an answer. I got only looks of ‘I like your inquisitiveness’ then he told me he has no answer for me yet.

What would you have become if you weren’t born in Nigeria? An artist, writing and making music.

Who would you vote for in the Presidential Elections of 2023? Mr. Peter Obi
